A Refreshing Take on the Rejected Mate Trope
"The writing here is clean, polished, and flows so naturally that it was a real pleasure to read. Isla is a great protagonist. Her self-deprecating humor made her feel real (the squirrel's tail and the upside-down trees in the epilogue had me laughing), and her skills as a healer and her growth into her witch abilities give her real agency. The dual POV worked well for showing Lucian's growth too. I especially liked that the enchantment never became a cheap excuse for his actions. Isla makes him earn her trust back, so the romance feels earned. The first half is paced beautifully. The Luna's poisoning mystery, Margaret's introduction, and Isla's gradual place in the pack kept me hooked. My only small wish is for a bit more time in the final confrontation with Eros and the dark spirits. After such a detailed buildup it felt quick, and more of Eros and his witch's motives could make the victory feel even more hard-won. You have a real talent for natural dialogue and character-driven storytelling. Please keep writing, I'd love to read more!"

"Loved reading this short novel. The grammar was great too and actually readable for once. The plot was good although I would have liked a little more depth into Isla's parents and where she came from. None the less a great read and look forward to more from this author. "

La historia en sí es buena y se lo recomendaría a los que legista este género. Su lenguaje es ameno.y cercano, escrita en primera persona la mayor parte del tiempo."

"Honestly, I did NOT expect this book to be this good. 😭❤️ It was only **18 chapters** and honestly, I went into it thinking, “Okay, this will be a quick little read.” Boy, was I WRONG. 😭😭 I finished it in like **30 minutes**, but somehow this short little book managed to pack in so much depth, emotion, and meaning. Like??? HOW??? 😭 The fact that such a short story could make me feel THIS much is actually crazy. It was beautifully written, the emotions felt so real, and every chapter just kept pulling me in. I genuinely didn’t expect to get this attached to a book this quickly. 🥹❤️ Sometimes you find a book with hundreds of chapters and it still doesn't leave an impression... and then you find an 18-chapter book that completely gets you. THIS was one of those books. 😭✨ Honestly, saying “I liked it” feels like an insult because **I LOVED IT.** 😭❤️🔥 It was short, but it was DEEP.
