"this is a story of two lost people searching for a connection even though they live halfway round the world from each other. Their pasts intermingle in ways almost uncanny but from that past comes the strongest of connections. It is a complicated, lovely tale of two lonely people, one rich, one a blue-collar worker who has multiple-personality syndrome which makes trusting very difficult, plus her back life was not filled with the most kind people out there. I was instantly drawn to Samantha and Zeyd. Their souls must be star-crossed because some way, they will find each other although the Universe keeps throwing obstacles and impossibilities their way. I rooted for them to find each other from page one. From a simple texting relationship to a more substantial connection, their past keeps interfering with their future. How they will find each other is the entire story ...the difficulties they encounter, the obstacles they overcome. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the character and how the author developed their love story. for to me, it was a moving, touching one I loved reading. Recommend this story highly."

"The timeline is made specifically clear, down to the hours, which is not usually seen; it does help with following. The characters' backgrounds are pretty sad; some scenes are funny --> a good combination for my read. Some plots are unclear/confusing, but the story seems not yet complete, so I hope those get explained later."
