"Lovely story, bit short but regardless found myself enjoying it. Different from other books I've been reading? Yes it is, and I don't mean that in the wrong way. The plot, although a bit rushed, was on point and the author did a good job at hiding the rush with drama from either the main characters or the "antagonist", to the point that it felt necessary to move things along fast. Also nice to see our shifters doing normal rural things like woodworking, makes them seem more "human" and connects better with us readers. Isobel's painting career was also a nice change of pace, and glad that the artistic Block was a plot point. I'm sure many of us have experienced it one way or another."

"A compelling story. I hope the author lets them be together without a whole lot of drama or backlash because she is a human. I also think that whatever attacked her when she was younger needs to be revealed and punished! Love it so far."
