"Wow!! How tf could a father say shit like that to his only daughter? Not to mention all the abuse Macey had to deal with growing up not from her father but her older brothers too? That's horrible! Absolutely disgusting inexcusable behavior. I'm really glad she and Asher made up. Yes, he was wrong for not standing up to his father and brothers but he was young too. No excuse, just saying. I'm really glad that Johan was there for her and stood by her side. This is a good HEA story that didn't nauseate me because it also dealt with the abuse factor of life not just that everything was always peachy. "

"I cried so often throughout this wonderful story only to end up crying at the end as well! There were many emotional moments and I thank the author for so courageously opening up about domestic abuse. There were many characters that were very realistic and my heart broke for those who were severely manipulated. And hurt. But the ending? Oh that was truly the best. Hence the tears. Healing is such a blessing. Thank you for sharing this beautifully written novel!"

"As a DV survivor, this story really hit home for me. It was very graphic, but violence isn't pretty!!! There were a lot of tears (and I do mean A LOT! 😭) while reading this book, but ... I also laughed at the funny bits and cheered the characters on in their heartwarming moments together. Well written, Kyliet!"
