"Vero Cavendish (mouthful of a name, author) writes the mundane as a precious gift. And that is correct, this story makes you realize that you don’t need manhattan billionaires or mafia dons or alpha werewolves to imagine life as wonderful. Small town setting, shy, big hearted cop X perennial sunshine pre-school teacher can be a universe! Thanks for all that and the hilarious cast of regulars and glitter bombed truth telling 5 year olds. The only thing missing is the (practice baby) pet doggie from the shelter and having a baby! We can only imagine..."

Decent, but too repetitive.
"The same "this is amazing" or "this is so stressful" overly exaggerated lines and paragraphs get old after a while. One tiny scene can take an entire chapter and yet only a few sentences actually have details you can picture about the scene. The rest of it is just the same emotions explained over and over again in different ways like the characters are always blown away by the smallest gestures. I'd like to hear more about the scene, and how they move, not their emotions over explained on repeat. That lands best when it is truly a climatic moment. Not one look in a grocery store. Would I recommend reading it? Probably not, but it's not bad if you want something to read."
