"What a great read! I’m not usually into Motorcycle Club books, however as this was from the magnificent Eden Quinn I thought I would read it and I couldn’t put it down. I was hooked from the very first chapter as always with Eden’s writing. My sixth book from this truly talented writer. I absolutely love Blade Cross, he’s obsessive & possessive, but also cool, calm, restrained, meticulous, caring & kind. What a man! I love Cleo, her fire, her never give up attitude and she gives as good as she gets. I also love seeing the honesty between them and the way that both of their characters evolve. Highly recommend! "

"We all know, Eden, Architect of Emotional Unravels, does not rush her stories. She builds them with precision, making every unravel feel deliberate and unavoidable. That alone should make this story worth your time. But she does not stop there. (She never really does 😉). In this story, she makes *restraint* feel powerful. She lets something like *control* and *silence* do more damage than brute force ever could. Should you read "Filthy Hearts Lie"? At the centre of the story are Blade, a man shaped by ruthless control, protection, and impossible choices, and Cleo, a girl pulled out of safety and into a world that operates on entirely different rules. A world where survival depends on who she trusts and what she refuses to believe. Blade’s control over Cleo is shaped as much by what he withholds as by what he does, while silence is strikingly used as a form of violence against Cleo. What is not said, and who chooses not to act, becomes just as harmful as anything done outright. What stood out to me most is the layered use of deception, especially in how it shapes characters who are not easily defined as simply good or bad. The title "Filthy Hearts Lie" stops being a simple statement and becomes something a lot more layered than it first seems. Lies are no longer just cruelty. They become survival, control, and protection. It’s not only about villains deceiving others, but about why people lie, and what those lies protect. Blade is brilliantly written. He is not a “good” man. He knows it, admits it, and doesn’t soften it. He kills those he believes deserve it and even takes a certain satisfaction in it. But underneath it all, there’s a kind of steadiness to him. What he protects, he protects completely, even when it comes at a moral cost. His lies are not about exploitation, but about control and protection. He withholds truth, reshapes it, and replaces it when necessary because, in his world, truth arrives too early to be safe. Even his harsher exterior is part of that control. It is a version of himself shaped to prevent Cleo from reacting before she understands the danger she is in. Cleo, too, is shaped by this. She begins to tell herself smaller lies. Lies about her feelings, about what she is becoming part of. Because it’s easier for her to live in uncertainty than to face what everything actually means. In the end, what stays with me is not just the deception itself, but how naturally it runs through every relationship in the story. Lies are never simple here. They are shaped by fear, protection, and survival. And no one escapes their reach. So: should you read this story? Hell, yes! Eden, Queen of Unravelling Lies, is a master storyteller. She makes Blade and Cleo (and the reader 🙆🏻♀️) *feel* every inch of the unravel. She shapes it through control and silence until even choice feels like something fought for rather than given. I would 100% recommend."

Hard to put down
"She’s done it again. Grabbed you by the throat from the very beginning and held you at the edge till the end. Love how the female characters are never the victims in the end. They choose for themselves. They’re strong and decisive and live by their choices. If you haven’t read Eden Quinn, you need to. I haven’t found one of her books I haven’t loved. If you love this genre, do yourself a favor and read this. Then find another of her books and another. You’ll be hooked. "
