"The central concept of this book is unbelievably strong. I was riveted, waiting patiently for each new revelation right alongside the characters. I loved the balance between development of the main characters’ relationship and the unveiling of the house’s design. I do feel some connective tissue needs polishing, as some details on the periphery appear out of nowhere and are not followed up. The mystical elements of the plot are grounded by the characters, and there are some items left untethered. I don’t want to write anything here with spoilers, however, so I will leave it at that. I am looking forward to reading more of your work!"
