"I really enjoyed this second chance story. I absolutely love Grant, love the way he owned his mistakes and was so sure of his feelings for Ellie. I really struggled to understand Ellie's character though. Breaking up the way she did and then not even trying to reach out to Grant, then holding back on her feelings. I really felt for Grant. I did enjoy it though and am such a fan of this author. Looking forward to the next one 💓 "

"I have loved every book in the “Hard To” series so far and this story is no exception. This story was full of angst, heartbreak and emotions. Both characters had abusive / toxic parents and were bullied at school. I loved reading their romance develop as they were younger being each other’s firsts and then the subsequent separation. The HEA was well deserved and I liked that it has ASD representation too. I loved how the story wasn’t dragged out, it was fast paced yet packed an excellent story. Highly recommend! Please tell me there will be more! "

"This is another warm & beautiful piece by RAD! Loved the writing style (as I always do) and the pretty straightforward plot. 2nd chance love stories can sometimes be overdone 👀 I mean, the characters are having to entertain a 2nd chance at their love story which, in itself, implies issues in their 1st attempt. And sometimes, the hurdles in these 2nd chance plots are over-stacked. But this story really made you feel like “hey, our first shot at this wasn’t a good experience, we deserve another shot”. And you could see that both characters felt that way, which makes the reader even more connected to the characters and their healthy attempt to reconnect, to build forward, to invest in their own happy ending. What a sweet story! Also: I love Lucas and his no-nonsense attitude of jersey selection. 🤭 "
