Closest to an interactive story I have read on this platform.
"This was a great story, well laid out...Characters had depth to them beyond the basic plot. Part of what made this a great read was I started it in the early chapter releases. After each chapter the author would ask questions on what you just read and where you think the story is going. This allowed for an interactive approach between author and reader, no idea if the chapters were already written and then just dropped at intervals, or if the questions and answers shaped the next releases, but it allowed the readers to buy in and see where it goes. There are 3 main plot points. A recent divorce of a rich company owner and his mistreated wife, who was also his chief architect in the start up days. The acquisition of the company as the story begins, and the discovery that the CEO husband had hidden the wife's contributions to his board and arranged the paperwork to deny her rewards from the buyout. Secondary plots are the son of the former couple and the leverage placed on the child by the father, the new wife's online influencer presence that is completely supported by the husband's company, and the intentions of the buyer. There are numerous confrontations as the story unfolds, with lawyers on both sides, plus the buyer, and a search for the truth that develops as the story goes. It's a good read, I enjoyed it immensely and was present in both reading the new chapters and trying to guess where it would go. It ended decently, but there were some loose ends....but they didn't detract from the overall story. The author did a good job not letting the side plots to overtake the main thread. Highly recommend. "
