"Very well written story about second chances at a love that never faded out. Lots of technical music terms but still easy to read/understand. In only 19 chapters the entire story was able to be told and told well, with a happy ever after!"

"A beautifully written story that captures the pain of lost livelihood, love, and purpose. The villain is diabolical. The heroes are heroic and the love story is heart-wrenchingly tender. The length of the book is absolutely perfect. There’s sufficient character-development and the plot moves quickly enough to keep the narrative clean and concise. There is the interlude where the narrative switches from first person to third to provide a different point of view and as it’s the only one, it feels out of place. There could be other ways relay the same information without sacrificing the style. "
