Romantic but...
"I truly loved this story. It had you on the edge of your seat at some point and you felt the love of a blossoming romance but I’m disappointed about the ending. There was more of the story that could’ve been explored, like the enemy get a really good ending of his own and well deserved and I really would’ve loved to see a ceremony between them (marriage as well), them have a baby and just a glimpse of Aldric as a father since he never got to experience that the first time around. Other than that I give it a 3 out of 5 stars and I really do recommend reading this story. Except for the ending it was fantastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️. "

"Textbook slow burn. Some unexpectedly funny moments, and an excellent story. Even a bit of a mystery, hard to put down once I’d started. Hard not to fall for Alaric, who is a surprisingly endearing ‘monster’. Really enjoyed this story! "
