"I can barely put into words how much I adore every single aspect of this PERFECT book, and how many emotions I felt while reading it, but I'll give it a try. The unique writing style is incredible; the details in every scene (both visually and emotionally) made me easily picture everything, luring me to feel a strong bond with the characters and the consequences of their actions. I felt happy when everything went well between the couple and when they shared heartwarming moments (I had to pause and relish that, since the joy was overwhelming). I felt goosebumps when Dante went into the "Reaper mode" and took revenge on anyone who hurt or dared to even speak badly about his woman. I sensed thrilling warm waves through my body during the extremely spicy moments, finding myself smirking like an idiot at the passion between Dante and Alexa (and reading those chapters again, several times). I almost yelled and cried when they strongly argued and distanced themselves, though this tension only makes the story more suspenseful and alluring. Not to mention the certain italic words used to emphasize power or devotion, together with Italian dialogues and nicknames, they just left me in endless awe ("bella" and "amore mio" are much hotter than "baby", at least from my perspective). The characters are mesmerizing, every one of them is perfectly placed into the story, whether they're good, bad, or morally grey. The MMC is just perfect, the one that easily melts a woman's heart. Being a powerful and feared man due to his ruthless reputation, the Mafia Boss shows a soft and loving side only to his precious partner, worshipping her through his every word and action. At the end of some chapters, I saw criticism regarding Alexa's foolishness, because she sets herself into several traps, but I enjoyed her naive state from time to time: it's essential to keep the thrilling action at its peak; if everything went well and she'd do the right thing, as told, the story wouldn't be so captivating. Also, Willow's personality, boldness, and language are great for bringing a good mood and several loud laughs, while Nicola's gentle demeanour towards Alexa is heartwarming, considering his frightening, enormous figure. The thrilling action kept me in continuous suspense, making me addicted to the enticing story. I loved the victories the couple won with intelligence and hard work, and even the unfortunate scenes that made me gasp with sorrow. How I felt while reading this book was totally absorbing, the exact opposite of plain or boring. It's unexplainable, I'm fully aware that it's fiction and fantasizing about these characters almost gives me chest aches, but after coming home from work, I want to do little to nothing with the outside world and dive into this brilliant author's masterpieces. I'm totally hooked on these amazing books, and grateful for another beautiful collection (after "Hooked on you"). Bec Middleton made the only thing that she could possibly do to improve this book: make a large series waiting for us to savour and experience everything. I'm sure that there will be plot twists that will blow our minds and ruin our souls, with emotional moments that will melt any stoneheart, everything kept at this perfect action pace. I'm not sure how she can manage to create so much artwork, reply to countless comments and reviews that come from thousands of people, have a family, and survive to create more masterpieces. She has my respect, may her inspiration never die, and I hope she'll have a long, happy, and healthy life, to continue spreading happiness through these fascinating artworks! ✨"

"I love everything about this book, to me there are no filler chapters which is great and every mundane detail matters, the story is just so well thought out. I was looking for a new book and I am so glad I didn’t give up! It’s realistic in terms of emotions and behavior. I loveeee the passion and intensity. 10/10!! Bravo!"
