"OK, so I finished this book in one go. The book was once removed and I wanted to finish it before it fell off again. Wow. There's a twist in here I didn't expect!! Very interesting to say the least. I don't know how I feel about Christopher. Seems he wants his cake and eat it too. Megan seemed far to innocent and naive, she was borderline stupid in my opinion, perhaps it was a sheltered upbringing? I'm hoping she found some strength in the end. The plot is great some taboo scenes/ideas that some may find uncomfortable. I enjoyed reading it as it added to the story as a whole. But adhere to the ⚠️! Also, the author tells you in the very beginning that this book was translated, meaning not written in English. It WILL read a little off grammar. Keep that in mind before dismissing the book for not being in proper English. "

"I only made it through 2 chapters before giving up. The grammar is terrible. Almost every sentence seems like it was run through an AI devise meant to use bigger, fancier words. I'm not sure if English isn't this authors first language, but the story just isn't flowing for me."
