A well developed story from start to finish, the characters simply amazing my all time favourite without kissing and telling is none other than Taylor he is just the best. This is a book of art, yes art because it truly is, exploring such deep layers that if I was Writting such a powerful book like this I would need to pause and have a cry because it's deep rooted with the characters you see Freddie journey and what a journey it is you really understand him and how hard it has been for him. This book shows huge amounts of insights with plenty of twists and turns you do not always see coming but you understand it. I really can not give anything away but you must read this LGBTQ boys love book. Now I am off to add another book of theirs to my reading list. Amazing story 💜 "

"Just amazing. This story is both spicy and layered. Incredibly raw and psychologically authentic. The characters surprise, shock, and deeply move you. I find their development realistic and believable. This journey makes you root for them, suffer with them, throw your hands up in frustration — and want to hug the main character. Though he'd probably reject that too. Missed chances, deep insights, and brutally honest. I'm not quite done reading yet, but I already recommend it. It's not usually my kind of theme, but the way it's done — the characters and those believable, unexpected twists — make it worth recommending to anyone. A brilliant book! "

"upon having read this story and reflecting on the the words and actions taken up by its main character, Freddie, what strikes me most is that this is, in effect, a story about redemption, his frequent sex encounters not-with-standing. at a relatively young age, Freddie was traumatized by both being torn away from his boyfriend; but, also, by the reaction of his parents - especially his father - with him being gay. the result of that is an intense lack of self worth that evolved into him going from one "one night stand" to another and the very few times he decides to get into any kind of relationship, they are toxic - furthering his lack of belief in himself. his friends Jenna and Taylor make many attempts to get him to change his ways to no avail. however, little by little, Taylor becomes more of an influence just by being a true and steadfast friend who is always there for him and we see the tide begin to turn slowly. when Freddie, through a wonderful coincidence, re-connects with his lost first love, Tom, there ensues a night of a deep heart to heart talk that finally allows Freddie to start to see things in a much better way and puts him on the path to find th happiness he deserves. it truly is a beautiful read and i highly recommend it to anyone. "

"Freddie Clark is a lovable character, he is funny, smart, and loves his friends dearly. Freddie was hurt, used and abused in high school from someone he thought cared and loved him, because of that Freddie will only do one night stands now, have his fun and move on to the next guy that comes along. Freddie’s father decides to re marry, those that Freddie once loved dearly, and some of Freddie’s abusers all make an appearance at this wedding, this will take a mental and physical toll on poor Freddie. But like always Freddie’s trusted friend Taylor has to once again come to Freddie’s rescue, Taylor is always there for Freddie. This story is well written, the story line is very addictive, characters are brilliant and very likeable. I highly recommend this story, it’s definitely a must read by everyone.❤️ "

"I was surprised at how much this story grew as it went on. There are deep emotional undercurrents that can cause a tiny gasp of breath when you least expect it. I wish there were parts of this book that went more in-depth, but that in no way took away from the overall layout of this story. I had only a few hang-ups when it came to this book, but I am highly suggesting it. It is truly a tale of the main characters growth. Worth reading."
