"Not gonna lie some parts were hard to read just her view on losing her mom and the life she's had to live without her hit close to home for me but in a different way. I lost my sister a few years back and I kinda related to some parts of this. Good story though it was entertaining to read and the last few chapters I really enjoyed the character growth and development loved that for them. I highly recommend this. Lovely story that navigates abandonment, death, loneliness, and a mate Bond that's hard to resist "

"I enjoyed reading this book esp as the story varied from many other werewolf books I've read.. For instance the Alpha not being able the feel or sense the disgruntlement of the pack over Ava being a half breed, plus the part where a small number of Wolves competed in just 3 or 4 events instead of being say a kingdoms packs competing with hundreds of Wolves being put forward for events.. Also where Luca marked Ava yet she didn't mark Luca.. So very much enjoying Daphne Anders books I've read to date & looking forward to enjoying more of her works.. T x "
