The writing is really good so far—highly recommend for anyone who loves a darker, more layered love story. If I had to offer suggestions, I’d say maybe sprinkle in a few more glimpses into Eleanor’s personal life early on, because I don’t feel like we really get to know much of her before François enters the picture. If the rest of the book keeps this up, I can already tell it’s going to be one of those reads you finish in a single sitting."
