"I read this in one sitting. I genuinely could not put it down. I kept telling myself “just one more chapter,” and then suddenly there were no chapters left. Now I kind of wish I had read it a little slower, because I already know I’m going to miss this story so much. It was incredibly heartbreaking, but it was also beautiful. The kind of boom that hurt a little, but you’re still grateful for it. I’ll be honest, I hated the MMC for a good part of the book. I was so frustrated with him at first. But somewhere along the way, that changed. You start to understand him, and then you really feel for him. By the end, I loved him. The way he loved the FMC felt so real and so deep, despite everything that happened in the past. It really showed, and honestly, I think he deserved forgiveness. As for the FMC, I still have mixed feelings. I went back and forth on her the entire book. There were moments I liked her, and moments when I wasn’t so sure. I think part of me just wanted her to give as much as he did, and I’m still not completely convinced she did. That’s all I can say without giving any spoilers. But even with that, I completely loved this book. This is the fourth story I’ve read by this author, and it is definitely my favorite so far. Absolutely incredible work. I already know this is the kind of story I’ll come back to and read again someday."

They're well written and it grabs you by the hair and drags you through the scenes at top speed that don't even have sex. The investment you'll find in these characters is intense. This author has a very unique and tantalizing way of painting her scenes. Sometimes it's like sheer poetry. Her visuals are vivid enough to make you feel like you're watching a movie. Read her stuff for dark, raunchy fun that makes you question just how hot and twisted your own soul is. It's surprising how deeply she gets under your skin. She'll make even the tightest, most prudish reader pant despite themselves.."
