Enjoyable read, good balance of views
"I have enjoyed reading this novel, I really liked that this book focuses on both the male and female main characters, unlike many others, tend to focus more towards the female lead. With the beginning showing how the child grew into his future role of Alpha, a fresh perspective! The book builds well, it doesn’t leap to “happily ever after”, showing not just their power and strength , but also their weaknesses and vulnerability. The dynamics of all the characters are what makes this book, giving it a feeling of community and compassion, that working together is what’s important, not just the individual. My only critique would be with the repetition, which can be a bit frustrating. I am looking forward to reading the next book, to see just how far the characters and pack have progressed. "

J'aime ce récit car il est juste, et qu'il oblige à regarder l'autre avant soi. C'est un récit qui n'est pas simplement un alpha et une "rejetée"... c'est profond et tout est cohérent. "What a great story! I loved the complex relationship between Kayden and his wolf. Thus is where it differs from other werewolf stories, many just gloss over the details of the man and wolf bond whereas it really was front and centre with this story. I must admit, I kind of went off Ariella as the story progressed, I feel like after everything Kayden has gone through he needed a much stronger and supportive mate. I'm hoping we see a lot more progression in her character for the second book. I'm really looking forward to what comes next for them. Well done to the author 💓 "

Love/hate relationship
"The book is good, but towards the end left so many unanswered questions, what happened to the humans? N the rogue stench just disappeared after Draven was killed? Ariella is not a bad character but she sounded selfish towards the end. Like she didn't question a lot of things. I want to read book 2, because I want to know what she'll find out. But she just started becoming a bit much n didn't add too much value. But u know I understand because book 1 wasn't about her but about the royal alphas. So I'm looking forward to what she brings to the table. "
