Fake, Straight or Fake Straight - a play with words
"I started reading this story choosen by its cover. I just feel for Matteo's red shorts - I admit that! The position of the pair in that cover also made me think it would be a story with some devotion and submission theme. And yes, not really said or written with words, but Adrian's attitude is so full of submission to this situation, where his inner dialogue says I am crazy to do this but his mouth says yes - let's do it. Matteo is undergoing his coming out. A little a bizarre way to do it - first breaking up with his girl-friend, then asking the gay guy on whom it shows he has had a secret crush at their work place to be his fake boyfriend and at the end at last revealing that it was in fact real all the time, he just hadn't had any better idea than this - an excuse to quit the girlfriend - it would of course have been better, it he had treated Adrian with flirt and hints before this all started. Well - story good any way - the plot was fine and I enjoyed their journey and somehow it ended precisely where it should with a lot of opportunities to let the pair get along in a second story. And of course I really enjoyed the descriptions of their sexual encounters in a way, which also affected me physical - purpose met! Some of these descriptions how ever had some recurring phrases, which easily could have been avoided and made the whole scene more vivid - sometimes it felt like the author just copy-pasted some sentences and that is for me a little annoying in an otherwise good language style. The structure of the story as told from Adrians perspective is also very good. At a point the author wants to let Matteo come to word too in another way than through dialog. POV Matteo and POV Andrea. This is a very easy way to show, that the story takes another perspective. I find it a too easy way and it feels clumsy in a good written cohearence. A new chapter - just starting out with a narrative told by Matteo would have done exactly the same presenting his thoughts and inner dialogue. I think it wouldn't have been confusing to any reader and I think it would have made the storytelling even better. All in all a fine homo-erotic story that fullfils it purpose - easygoing reading with some peaks of good arousal - keep on writing!"
