Caden and Roman should not work, but.....

"I devoured this story! The inclusion of the vampiric biology and their adaption as a community under this particular Master, was a welcomed approach rather than 'just another normal three century old vampire on his own with human slaves etc'. Roman's unexpected love affair with Caden is wonderfully passionate and romantic. Of course, that comes with it's drama. The descriptive hunting scenes were spectacular and very tense. Caden's internal battles and the physicality of his scenes within the castle/mansion are very emotional and heart breaking. Great entertaining story."

"As usual, a really gripping story - in fact I have not read any of your stories that weren't well crafted and exciting. I am up to date with Danny and the dragon and this fills in the "missing brother" in his background. The emotional turmoil of the betrayal and capture did no favours to my hypertension! That's good writing for you. Glad there was a satisfactory outcome. Thank you once again."

"This is my first time reading a book by M Lane, and I absolutely loved it. Rich story telling, great world-building, and the vampiric lore was addicting. The love between Caden and Roman was so fantasticly sweet that I didn't even mind the less explicit sex scenes (though if you want to write a detailed spicy scene between them in like...a short story, lemme know so I can gobble it up). The plot twist was juicy and kept me flipping through each page like a glutton for more. Can't wait to read more in this series!"

But at its heart it is a love story that takes you on a journey your heart will truly beat for.
