"Thank you for a heartfelt story! I can't imagine how a person can be a foster parent and give up the child/children again. It takes a person like Alexis to do that. Vance was brilliant, too. And, of course, Donnie made me smile when he rolled his eyes. Clayton's story was just sad! I can't imagine parents doing that to their own flesh and blood! It does happen in real life, I know, I treated some of them! Anyway, I can go on and on, but let's leave it at this. Great book, I loved reading it! "

"I enjoyed the story and all the different characters very much especially Vance. To me some repetitive details were a bit too much for my taste, all the talk about snacks and chocolate was to often and that every interaction with Donnie had him rolling his eyes. Even if he does, the reader gets it at some point. Although the female main character is great, she is too much of a saint. 😇"
