Süße Story
"Ganz anders als erwartet. Ich habe Band 1 natürlich auch gelesen. Die Geschichte um Rice und Kaycee ist ziemlich süß. Allerdings finde ich, dass die ganze Hintergrundgeschichte mit Hexen und Skinwalkern viel mehr Spannung verdient hätte. Die Handlung entwickelt sich ziemlich schnell, die Spannungsbögen sind sehr kurz und alles wird schnell aufgelöst sodass auf jede gefährliche Situation schnell eine Erlösung folgt. Ist grundsätzlich nicht schlecht nur ein bisschen zu schnell. Ich hätte gern viel mehr erfahren. Das Ende ist sehr schnell und es wird nicht erklärt wie lange nach der vorigen Handlung es passiert (offensichtlich länger als ein Jahr, nachdem Bryn und Rhyzian ein einjähriges Kind haben), was weniger Sinn ergibt nachdem Rice und Kaycee ja bereits „verheiratet“ waren. In der Geschichte steckt viel mehr, aber ich bin froh, dass du sie trotzdem beendet hast."
