"I REALLY LOVED THIS STORY!! i liked how Shaynes confusion about his sexuality was portrayed and Austins intensity. I loved that their quirks were prtrayed as wrong fo others but really it was just a matter of finding someone to accept you unconditionally and friends who could understand. I loved that they each had people willing to fight for them, not justeach other. Both characters had back stories which shaped and helped understanding, and even the dad, stepmum and jessie were relatable albeit assholes. The humour was just enough tto stop the trauma and aelf loathing from being too heavy. The only let down was the unctuation nd grammar but i didnt mind reading through it and fixing it in my head as i read. Looking forward to more stories! "

Another great heartwarming story
"Everything in this story pulls you in. I love how Shayne's story unfolded, from his past and his accidents, to where he got to voice what he wanted from Austin. I do hope there is more of their story to unfold. I feel like seeing them on the road at the rodeos could pull in more of their story and relationship building as it progresses. Or maybe interaction with Austin's past. Either way this was an amazing story and I loved every minute of it. Every story by Nyx Nightshade so far that I've read has been a bingeworthy read. I'm not normally one to leave reviews but these stories have left a mark and I want to share that with other readers. "
Good, real life situations , lovable heroes
"I really enjoyed this novel. The plot moved at a good pace, never stagnating. The character of Shayne was especially well drawn and compelling. I found the lack of punctuation difficult to read through, resorting to reading it like I was listening to someone talk without taking a breath. Austin could use a little fleshing out, the two sides of his personality don’t reconcile naturally to me. The confident dom vs. the anxious lover who holds back doesn’t quite read as natural to me. It might benefit from more examples of their sexual dynamic when they’re not outright fucking. Just some thoughts. I love these characters, I look forward to reading more of the authors work. "
