"There is no doubt in my mind I loved reading this novel. I instantly liked it as soon as I started reading it. For me, it is quite a surprise that I read this novel as it is the first time I read a straight novel because I usually don't read some due to being a BL author. Regardless, I am glad this novel was recommended to me and that I gave in to it because otherwise, I would have never known there was this masterpiece. What I usually like in novels is the unpredictability, complications and challenges. This novel not only gave that, it was even better than expected. Of course, the fact that the main character is a teenager helps. However, that is far from being the only thing I liked. This novel was diverse as it wasn't only focused on one genre. It contained spicy scenes which were superb, suspense after suspense, twists, and problems characters have to face and weirdly it is also more realistic than it looks. There was character growth which is also something I liked and even if I unfortunately don't have advanced knowledge in anime, I loved the references and the fact the main character likes it makes it unique. Thus, this makes this novel multi-dimensional and faceted too. Overall, I loved reading this novel and seeing it evolve. I truly recommend it. I also can't wait to see what comes next for the main character's adventures. "

One issue
"I found one issue in the story that should be looked into, and that’s the fact that Jack rides the bus while his family has enough money to buy him his own driving vehicle. He stated, “My family is well off—loaded even.” And the fact he goes to a prestigious school. He should at least have his own driving vehicle. I know some families are like “work hard for what you want,” but a lot of the time, with well-off families— a handful I knew back in those days, their parents bought them cars, at least used. Example, when I was 16, this girl in one of classes got a convertible-able mustang for her sweet sixteen. "

"I honestly loved reading this book it was a spicy read and I enjoyed reading tutoring in love I can’t wait for book 2 to be published I didn’t like how the popular guy (forgot his name) and his friends took advantage of Lisa while she was drunk at the party and then tried saying that it was Lisa who took advantage of him. Lisa, Melany, jack and Ms Cherion are my favourite characters by far I’d love to read more and see what happens between Melany and Jack they would make such a cute couple. I recommend this book to everyone who likes this sort of stuff to read can’t wait for more"

"This is a fun, light read, the MC is an anime lover and the novel has a lot of anime references with little cute sidenotes at the end. At some point I saw the shadow of a plot forming. I initially thought this was going to be just spicy scenes without end, but when you introduced the ranking game I got an idea where this story is going. I am curious for more information about the game and the beginning of his last high school year. "

"This book somehow manages to strike a balance between being over the top spicy and adorably cute at the same time. The main character is nerdy without it being over the top and the author's writing style makes it very easy to feel immersed in the story right from the start! You definitely want to keep reading and learn more. I'm not usually one to enjoy stories where the woman is the older one but it somehow works here without seeming weird. Definitely give it a try!"
