Proximity drama that builds to romance
"She is a maid and he is a CEO. This story is about two people who are pushed to spend time together after his driver hits her with his car. There are elements of ‘enemies to lovers’ but the story moves past that quickly. There is a dramatic intrigue with jealousy and rich manipulative families. There is also Jane - a no-nonsense sassy personal assistant with a few funny one line zingers. Opinion: Good story that moved well. I felt some elements were a little underdeveloped. Natalie has an ex boyfriend who gives up a little too easily when his character seems more consistent with trying to scam her. There is also a nasty hotel employee and we are never told how his story lands. 🤬 Some swearing used in context 🔪 Car crashes and violence, detailed but not glorified 💋Detailed sex scenes. All consensual. 🔚 A stand alone story with a +1yr epilogue "

"I am nothing short of hooked on this story! I’m loving the desire Natalie and Elijah have for themselves, as a togetherness that runs deep and feels like was always meant to be. I’ve read stories before of “love at first sight” but these characters, their story feels honest and pure. He saw in her how broken she is, and how much she needs someone to understand her and not expect her to be just a placeholder in life. He sees her potential, the soul to be cherished and adored. His needs mirror hers completely, sure he has more luxuries than Natalie, but he is just as tortured as her. A placeholder in people’s lives so they can achieve and become more. Elijah’s heart isn’t taken into real consideration, he is just striving for validation and Natalie provides that on a level that neither of them can grasp. Perhaps my interpretations of these characters are incorrect, regardless I am loving this story and how it’s unfolding. I cannot wait to read more."
