"Good first book. It defined the characters well, established the guidelines for the world it exists in and the plot flowed pretty well. Only one criticism, previously mentioned in a chapter. The guidelines for this world say that the Government has an existing treaty with the supernatural world. So when the lead female character is sold to the Leader of the Vampire coven, even though she escapes from captivity, she has to be given to them. However, her brothers are wolves, Beta's of her pack. Under those rules she cannot be sold to the Coven as she is protected via the Supernatural treaty. As we got to the end of the first book, some of the underlying issues were addressed. I hope more of the world and the issues therein are addressed. "
