Theo & Troy, Perfect Match
"Great story about Troy finding love after heartbreak. Wonderfully heartfelt, emotional and oftentimes funny story. Min & Yuki were entertaining side characters. Theo was the ultimate sweetheart for Troy and exactly what he needed after Luke. I really enjoyed this story and my heart did break at times for both Troy and Theo, but love always finds a way and it did in the story. Thanks! "
Everything Meant Nothing
"I really thoroughly enjoy every minute of this novella. The characters are believable and I loved the authors descriptive writing. My only big issue is the repetition of sentences or paragraphs through the story and the immediate contradiction of events from the end of one chapter to the start of the next. Sometimes even in the very next paragraph, completely changes how things went or what was said. Almost as if they didnt read what was written previously before carrying on writing. It is very disturbing. However, easily fixable with a single read through and some light editing. It would really make this novel first class. Especially if it expands to going back home and coming out to the family (food for thought) Well done Author! 👏 "

I really loved the friendships in this story and how they helped Troy grow as a person while navigating heartbreak, desire, and self-discovery. The characters felt genuine, the emotions hit hard, and the journey was both frustrating and beautiful in all the right ways. "

"Troy is a nice guy, and after getting his heart broken by Luke the high school quarterback, decides to go all the way to the UK for college, to get as far away as he can from all the reminders and memories he made with the boy he once loved. Theo is quiet, keeps to himself, a gym enthusiast, and Troys new roommate, they keep to themselves until they attend a college party together, and that's when things change between them, they want will become more friends. Everything Meant Nothing is well written, interesting, a beautiful story about heartbreak and finding love again. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book, and highly recommend it to everyone.❤️"
From a Depressing Heartbreak to a Happy and Blissful Relationship in a Foreign Country
"First of all, I would like to commend the author for showing us the drive which made Troy decide to fly to the UK, to get a fresh start at life after that sad but necessary break-up. At first, I was kind of expecting that cliche love story where the main lovers kind of break-up for a moment to think about things through and through, then comeback to each other at some point in time to correct the wrongs of their past together, and have a happy-ever-after, but I was wrong in a right way. The part where Troy (the MC) found a new boy to love in the form of Theo (the MC's new leading man), it gave the story a kind of conflict that is not hard not to pass by in a romance story. The kind where the old love clashes with the new love to see who is more deserving of the MC's heart. Troy's love for Theo (and vice versa) is what I love in this story. It was very romantic and fun with a bit of spice on the side. I also liked how the author explored Troy's new friendships he built in a new country, the kind that is supportive with Troy and pushes him and Theo in their relationship. Overall I just love that this story has that perfect mix of romance, comedic banters, spicy moments and sad parts, one where it doesn't just put a certain emotion in a chapter in a whim just to give it a "deep" feel to it. To end this review, I just want to say that my scores for this novel reflects how much I love the way the author writes this story. I hope that i encounter a similar kind of story again in this app, or from the author directly. Thank you so much for this novel Inkitt and also to the author."
Good but.....
"This novel was really good. I enjoyed it. The characters the plot enjoy how these character came from a broken relationship and found each other to hopefully heal each other but the ending kind of threw me off. Like is that seriously how it ended there’s no more chapters not understanding that oh and I love the other couple."
