"I don't know why but my eyes watered so many times while reading this book. Must be the air 🤭 On a serious note, the story is wonderfully written. Powerful. Emotional. Compassionate. Two strong main characters but they did not swallow one another. If you're looking for a romance story where the female lead is not a damsel in distress, this is the book. Kudos to the author!"

"Cyrus was hard to like throughout reading even when he wasn’t being horrid but I guess I warmed up to him in the end. I love how strong the female lead was through all the bs that people threw at her and I believe this book shows just how much love, compassion and kindness is valued. I am glad there was a happy ending. "
Beautifully written
"I'm a little bit torn with this one. I loved Lyla, a true gentle soul. However, I struggle with how Cyrus treated her. He did try to redeem himself at the end and I loved the bonus chapter. I personally would have liked to see that change and that realisation that he'd fallen for her a bit earlier on. I feel like some of his words just can't be taken back. That being said, I love a dark romance and this was certainly that. This author is definitely one of my favourites on here 💗"
