Complex story to the max - I hate everything about you 💜
"Where to start well the book what a story first the characters Briar and Knox Harlow wow there were moments I found tough but was part of the story.💜 Now if you are looking for a sweet romance safe and gentle book that is very predictable this is not it. But yes if you crave a dark story that shows unapologetically explicit and psychological events with a book you need to read this straight away.💜 I was hooked from the start to finish though I did not want to say goodbye to the characters I wanted to hold on a bit longer before reading the final chapters because I grew to understand them and love them and really feel them. 💜 I do not do spoilers I am afraid I do how this book made me feel and how well I thought the story went for me. 💜 All I will say is briar drawn to Knox and Knox is well a complex anti hero. I do love a complex book and this book left me wanting to read more and more to understand the characters better. 💜 The author handed this story, this taboo theme as some would call it, the trauma bonding really well. The dynamic and the visualisation within this book was a master piece say the least. 💜 We do start to dislike the make less but soon the narrative really does shift and we understand more.💜 This book is a raw one, complex as I have said but a journey from deep complex emotions. Very gripping every signal page. An emotional rollercoaster that you just need to keep reading till the end. 💜 Saying all of this I only recommend this amazing book to readers who can read dark romance here with deep and I mean deep psychological elements as you see and yes this is a enemies to lovers kind of story.💜 Five star all the way but if you are a sensitive reader please do not read. 💜"
Intense in many ways
"This one is quite heavy in a lot of ways. It emphasises the difficulties surrounding someone with dementia without making it the main focus. The character development of the MMC is significant but believable in the overall context of the story. I also enjoyed how the ending was not grand, just a demonstration of finally reaching some form of normality for the characters. A good closer."

So many feelings and reactions.
"I will admit, i found Knox’s behaviour difficult to stomach as Briar is such a lovely girl but as the story goes on we start to understand more behind the whys and where his head is at. I loved the FMC and could understand her reactions (or lack of). She is such a strong character and her mums character is really great. The mother / daughter storyline brings perspective into why Briar isnt hell bent on revenge - she has bigger and more important things to focus on due to her mums condition. Knox was a complex and infuriating character but i enjoyed his road to redemption. I loved the relationship he builds with Briars mum as she doesnt have insight into the bullying etc. She sees him from a different perspective and therefore we get to see that side too. Whether the reader forgives him is another matter. I struggled to forgive but i absolutely loved the story! It brings out so many emotions and reactions. Can’t wait to read more of your work. "

"Alright,I'll start my review saying she is one of the strongest FMCs I've read. Her strength lie in her endurance,both mentally and physically. She CHOOSED to endure as a passive observer of fleeting moments which by no means say she is weak. Author has done a brilliant work showing how her mentality works in an abusive situation. She does not seek revenge,just simply states facts like he is unforgivable and she hates him. For those who say she is a weak ass woman,go and educate yourself. An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind and she CHOOSED not to. If that makes her soft then so be it. All and all I love this and wish author will keep her great work up.❤️"

"I have to say I almost stopped reading this because trauma is sometimes difficult for me to read. But I held on and I’m glad I did because I am fully invested in these characters. This author has a gift! This is the second story I’ve read by them and I am certainly not disappointed. The characters are wonderfully developed and the writing style is precise and descriptive. It has the perfect amount of detail to pull at your heart and elicit that feeling in your chest when you truly understand what the characters are going through. Thank you do much for writing this!
