"It was a refreshing and easy read, and it was pretty different from the books I usually pick up. The writing was great and I really liked the idea behind the story. A lot of the plot centered around the characters’ careers and work life, which was probably my only small issue. I would’ve loved to spend a little more time watching the romance develop outside of work and getting more moments between the two of them. Still, I understood what the author was going for. Their connection was built through working together, learning to rely on each other, and slowly letting their guards down. Overall, it was a really enjoyable story about trust, teamwork, and allowing someone else into the life you’ve worked so hard to build. Definitely a good, quick read."
