So damn good
"This story is so damn good! Everything, my emotions were everywhere! I was pissed, sad, heartbroken, intrigued, sad again, pissed again, laughing, at the edge of my seat wondering what was the next reveal that was going to keep me reading and hoping it never ends. Then the end... the end... pissed again but also happy. Like.. if she ever finds out she’ll never forgive him! He is so wrong to have done that! I get it. But he’s wrong for it! He created the problem and then handled it sooooo incredibly poorly! He broke her just to “fix” what he broke. That’s not love! It’s cruel, and spiteful. I get the mate bond. I get that had he not he would’ve never had her in the end. But again... it was beyond cruel to shatter her to have her. I LOVED THIS STORY!!!!! I’m disappointed in him... truly. But part of me is happy for them. The other part of me knows secrets like that never stay hidden! Truth will out. I don’t know how they would survived once it’s out. Trust is a hard thing to get back. Stupid boy. "

Nice unexpected love story
"Love the characters! They both have a nice development through the books. I thought it was funny how other readers love one or another and then turned on their favorite character once more. That means it is well written. It’s spicy, it’s gory and it’s fun. "

"It was a very interesting book. I could read it over and over again because it has a great plot, and strong characters both male and female. I totally understand Nikolai for going the extra mile to ensure he had his mate to himself without the interference of Julian , mostly because these characters are more animal than human so a lot of moral justification does not play out especially as regards werewolves and their mate bond. I feel it would have been great to get a spin off of what happened to Illina and Darius , her son (Cassie's best friend as portrayed). Also giving us a sense or a picture of what her life and Magnus eventually played out within the pack as they settled in even if just the beginning of their story together. I didn't really like the fact that Cassandra didn't embrace her part of causing Nikolai pain as he knew through their bond exactly what her cheating with Julian as well as her training injuries caused him so as to have some form of resolution or closure. All in all, it was a terrific book and I've already referred it to my sisters and close friends. Looking forward to more from the author. Great job! "

"Oh dear, the epilogue provided a shocking revelation I didn’t see coming! The redemption for Nikolai back in the late twenties chapters was quickly erased. That was underhanded! EVen though the ending contained a twist, it as a great read!"

"This story had me in a chokehold the entire way. The characters were relatable, and annoying (as males are). Casandra is a badass. The way she throws Nikolai on the desk 😱 DAMN GIRL😍! I just wish she was a bit more independent, and did not constantly give in to the male at her side. You do you for a bit girl. The plot twist at the end actually had my jaw drop. Did not expect that, but then again could totally see that being a thing. In general I feel like a lot could have been expanded on, and a bit more character development or expansion on the readers knowledge of some key side characters would have been nice. All in all, I loved it. Would definitely recommend the read."
