"Your tearea I gave 3 a tars. Your tchnical writing is good. I think there were obvious places you could have made a few corrections. But, I love your style of writing and I really liked your voice. Do not humble and berate yourself about the writing and editing. Once at the end is sufficient. As far as apologizing for the way you created Tank, it is your readers who complain about his earlier behavior leading up to his meeting Kate. A simple man berated and constantly bullied by his siblings would only cower. Until he met and got to know Kate. His angle of mercy. The only person who could save him, show him compassion, kindness, and even love. I think your other readers who complained to you about Tank are small minded, and just didn't get what you were creating when it Came down to it. If you are able, continue with your series. Perhaps a short (or long) story about the life of each character up to the point at the end of this story, bringing everyone to this point, and beyond should you choose. You are a good writer. "Short sweet post apocalyptic book about how to survive when the world has lost its ever loving mind. Yes it’s true Tank isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed but he’s sweet and has common sense which in my opinion is better than book learning anyway. Kate is feisty and sassy and I like her. Really interesting story!"

"I love that the author gives the "bad guy" the "cheater" a voice. Cheating is a symptom or the presenting of something already stricken with disease and circumstance. We watch movies and read books all the time where a woman is faced with two men vying for her heart, a woman who thinks she is in love with a man but it turns out she never was all along and is really in love with her best friend, yada yada yada. That type of thing. This story lifts the veil a bit on a special someone who by fate, by chance, by environment and social abuse that he saw the world through a different lense where boundaries were very different. It is a story about love and forgiveness and survival and boundaries. I love it. "

"This short story was incredible..I think so many people go into reading storys like this with a modernized view of life ,judging and analyzing everything from thier functional working world..Obviously this book is not set in functional society and if u can't step outside the box and literally step into the writers world as a third eye invisible in the story..but there..walking along with the characters...you can't appreciate or get the richness of the writing and the depth on this story...I don't love short stories that much per say...Give me an epic multi generational trilogy and I'm in heaven..But that being said..I loved this story! The writing is mature and colorful..it pulled me in deep and it gave me a multitude of emotions..I desperately wanted the story to continue..I was hooked from chapter 1..I really want some thicker books from this writer...I can already tell u they will be fantastic!!"

"Thank you so much for sharing more detail on Tank and his way of thinking on the subject of relationships and faithfulness. I worked it out for myself by reading Chapters 3 & 4 again. All it took was feeling that heavy regret Tank felt at how much he'd hurt the woman he felt so strongly for. I'm not sure he understood "love", with the simplicity of his beautiful mind, but whatever he's feeling is good enough for me. 😘 Thank you !! 🌹"

"I absolutely loved this story. I'm so disappointed it was so short. I happen to know someone exactly like Tank and can fully understand his "cheating". You're totally correct that Tank's understanding is a bit different than some other folks. He never realized in the moment he was doing something wrong. Oh how I wish you could elaborate on this and create a post apocalyptic novel!!! Thanks for this story. It was really an enjoyable read. "

"I really enjoyed this short story. It’s not usually the type of material I read,but after the first chapter I realized that I wasn’t going to be able to stop reading it until the end. The language was very graphic and at times vulgar,but that just added to the intrigue of it. I was disappointed that Tank cheated on Kate,but the author’s explanation gave me some good insight on that. I’m looking forward to reading more material from this writer!"
