I’m new to writing, and honestly never expected to become one. But in early 2025, life shifted in ways I didn’t expect.

After welcoming my daughter into the world and stepping into life as a stay-at-home dad, I found myself with time to explore something different creatively.

Then came a strange dream—the classic “you forgot to wear shorts in public” scenario. I wrote it down that night, and it slowly became The Ocean Between Us.

The story follows a teenager who struggles to connect with others, something I’ve dealt with myself. A lot of the emotions and experiences in the story come from real feelings I’ve carried over the years.

Right now I’m focused on shaping the story into something meaningful, and I’m excited to see where it goes.
