Summary

- A world-hopping novel - A soul drifting into nothingness seeking an answer finds an opportunity through a rather optimistic salesperson. The opportunity lands him a job that requires too much travelling, and following a script. While unaware of the fact that it's a script. So... how does one do their job without knowing they have a job? Simple, just fall in love with the only person you're not supposed to. And work hard. :)

Prologue I

In the never-ending darkness that stretched on into the beyond, there was [Silence].

The [Silence] was such that it isolated all vision, all sound and all touch that a human wants, craves and longs for. Such stillness had the capability to drive one into solitude and sink into oneself until no desire remains to exist, to love and to live.

It was a place where time stood frozen. It was nothingness; it was [Death].

In this calmness, all of a sudden, something moved. For a place where even time was held fugitive, this was strange. The beings in the darkness, in [Silence], in the ever solitude of [Death], stirred awake, and all their attention moved to settle on the peculiarity that had emerged.

A speck of light, barely a twinkle, flickered into existence. It was small, so very small as if a single swipe in its direction would blow it out of existence.

In the endless darkness, there was never any light. Any that existed extinguished beyond the barrier, torn to shreds and scattered into pieces that snuffed out any chances of life.

Light was rare. Odd. Curious.

Extraordinary.

And... dangerous.

As soon as the light appeared, the eyes looking at it burned. It sizzled and charred amongst the horrid, disconcerting screeches and cries that filled the unknown.

The [Silence], for the first time in aeons, experienced chaos. The beings residing within the unknown crackled as the light burned their subsistence to ashes.

It barely lasted a second, and for the first time since its beginning, [Silence] was truly desolate.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

Rodela: I have been reading in Inkitt for quite some years now, but this is the 2nd time I am reading a story as well knitted as this one. The plot was as generic as possible, yet, it gave answers to many questions other werewolf stories couldn't. Most importantly, it made me realize what I want with my lif...

Ingibabes511: Beautiful storytelling, too short but crafted wonderfully, your ability to draw us in with just a few short descriptive nuances and I for one would not be unhappy if you decided to make this into a series following their lives, where we learn more about her goddess given talents and if they have pup...
