Chapter 1
Asmodeus POV
Asmodeus made step after step in the dark forest. He was hungry, tired and bored out of his mind. The last town he visited chased him with torches and pitchforks, they weren’t a friendly bunch of mortals, that was at least more fun than walking alone in the dark.
Just as he was about to give up for the night and find a place to sleep, Asmodeus saw light at the end of the tree line. His wings fluttered excitingly and the demon used them to fly over the forest. That’s when he saw it. A castle. In the middle of nowhere, a few meters from it – the ruins of a what ones was a mansion. The demon raised an eyebrow, staring at one of the windows casting light in the night. He could see the figure of a man that piqued his interest.
Asmodeus saw the light from the castle’s windows go out and he figured the one living their finally went to bed. The demon found a comfortable place on a branch and sat on it, leaning his head on the tree trunk. And as he sat there, he gathered whatever patience he managed to find in himself and waited. After a few moments he felt himself drifting.

Asmodeus grunted as the sun’s rays fell on his closed eyes. He frowned, lifting his hand to try and hide from the scorching light that made his skin tingle uncomfortably. The demon then sat straight, recalling the castle and his place on the tree’s branch. His frown disappeared as he caught sight of a tall pale man with two other humans, going toward the ruined mansion. Asmodeus used his heightened eyesight to look at the little group.
The pale man was a vampire, Asmodeus concluded, watching as they got to an elevator and used it to enter a pit. The demon stood up, fluttering open his wings. He jumped off his place and flew after them, keeping a reasonable distance. When he got to the pit, he could hear their voices. The two people were talking and asking questions as the vampire smiled and answered with short sentences.
Asmodeus raised an eyebrow and shrunk his size, successfully turning into a black feathered bird. He smiled as best as his beak allowed and went after them. The demon finally found something interesting to do and he wasn’t going to let that chance escape. On top of it, the blond vampire looked quite delicious in his tight pants and V-necked shirt.
Asmodeus smirked to himself. Oh how he would like to bring the man to his bed.
The demon flew right over them and landed on one of the book shelves, successfully catching their attention. He felt the vampire’s eyes on him but ignored him and went straight for one of the humans who was getting too close to the vampire. The man screamed as Asmodeus tried to peck at his eyes and hopefully take one out. The girl who was with them tried to snatch at his wings but Asmodeus escaped, returning to his place on the shelf. He fluttered his feathers, proud of himself and sat down.
“How did that bird get here!” The boy exclaimed, glaring at the demon. “And what’s its problem!?”
“Taka, animals just don’t like you.” The girl replied with a smirk and salapped the boy – Taka, on the back of the head.
The pale man laughed and slowly levitated in the air towards Asmodeus. He reached his hand forward and the demon let him pet his head. The blond smiled and quickly snatched him in his hands. Asmodeus quacked in surprise and pecked at the vampire’s hands.
“I’ll take him outside. You two can look around.”
“Be careful, Alucard, that bird is a spawn of Satan.” Taka shivered and glared at the black demon.
Asmodeus made sure to glare back and stopped struggling against the man’s hands, letting Alucard take him back outside. He liked the name the blond vampire had and surely liked the way the man’s hands carefully held him.
Finally, back on the ground, the vampire let him go and Asmodeus took this chance to fly in the air. Alucard turned to go back but was stopped by hearing the snapping bones of the demon. The blond man snapped his attention back on the bird, seeing in its place the smug demon. Asmodeus revealed himself, hands crossed over his chest.
“Hello~” The demon smirked, looking with satisfaction at Alucard’s surprised face.
“Who are you?” Alucard frowned and Asmodeus could see how the vampire’s shoulders tensed.
“Asmodeus, demon of lust, pleasure to make your acquaintance.” The demon bowed his head slightly as if to mock the owner of the castle and grinned, showing his sharp teeth.
“A demon?” Alucard’s frown deepened and the demon laughed out loud.
“A demon, darling~” He sang, twirling in his place, showing off his horns, wings and the tale, wagging behind him.
“A demon…” Asmodeus could see the little twinkle in Alucard’s eyes. Ah, so that’s how it is… The little vampire wanted to study him.
“Excuse my manners. I’m Alucard Tepes, the owner of this hold and the castle above it.”
“Tepes.” Asmodeus hummed, letting his eyes run free all over the vampire’s body. “Wasn’t that Dracula’s last name? You’re his son.”
“Yes.” Alucard nodded and that’s when Asmodeus smelled it. The “vampire” was stinking of people and it wasn’t the smell of the two humans around him.
Asmodeus hummed, hand running through his hair, messing it up even more. The demon’s smile grew as he closed the few meters to Alucard and took in a deep breath just to be sure. The man was a dhampir.
Asmodeus was about to open his mouth when he heard the wooden elevator come up. The two humans ran towards them, weapons drawn-out and pointed towards the demon. That was the fun Asmodeus lived for. He was about to tear them to pieces when Alucard stepped between him and the two humans. Asmodeus hummed, checking the dhampir’s ass out from his position behind the man.
“He won’t hurt us.” Alucard said calmly, making Asmodeus snicker.
“Yes, I am.” The demon smirked, watching with pleasure as the humans tensed and raised their weapons even higher.
The dhampir shot him a look that Asmodeus choose to ignore and instead bared his long teeth at the two teenagers. He didn’t like people. They were selfish, egoistical and more importantly – ugly. Thought they were good sex toys for his needs. The twins took a few steps back and Taka pointed an arrow towards the demon.
“He won’t hurt you.” Alucard repeated, turning towards Asmodeus with his whole body. “Would you like to come inside for a cup of tea?”
“Oh I’ll come inside even without the tea~” The demon smirked, winking at the dhampir. He saw how Alucard dipped his head down, trying to hide a blush. It was far more fun to tease the man than to scare the humans at the back.
“But Alucard! He’s a… monster.” Taka frowned, pointing at Asmodeus’s wings and everything else that made him a demon.
“Watch your tongue, human.” Asmodeus growled at him then offered his hand to Alucard.
