Chapter 1
I’ve always liked to watch him from afar seeing as we’re from two different cliques there was no reason for us to talk to each other except for now. “Ok student’s everyone pair up”, said our teacher Mr. Witherspoon for our upcoming Science project on Human Evaluations. I looked around the room and watched as everyone started leaving their desk to pick someone to pair up with. My eyes finally landed on someone who sat alone and the only someone I planned to pair up with. Jordan Davidson, my little nerdy boy.
He was surprisingly shy and got so easily flustered and for some reason that seemed to turn me on. To see the look on his face as he stuttered and started to flush trying to avoid my eyes. ‘So cute,’ I smiled. I got up from my desk walking up to him watching as he started to doodle in his notebook. I peeped my head over his shoulder to see what he was drawing, my hands touching his shoulders.
“Wacha doing?” I questioned taking a seat besides his desk. He immediately covered his work holding his notebook close to his chest. “I-It’s nothing important”, He whispers, his ears slowly turning red.
“Are you sure because it looked oddly familiar?” I said slowly, tracing my pointer finger along his arm. He sat there stiff as a board his face started to turn tomato red not being able to say anything back instead, he watched as my finger went up and down his arm. He looked so cute, his wavy brown hair falling over his glasses trying to hide his hazel brown eyes. I watched as he started to grow impatient watching as my finger slowly made its way up to his hand.
I bit my lips and looked up at his eyes even if he still refused to look at me grabbing his pen from his other hand, I wrote my number. “Seeing as everyone else is already paired up you have no choice but to be my partner here’s my number”. I said and with that I walked back to my seat. It felt so good when I could feel his burning gaze watching me as I went back to my seat surrounded by my group of friends.
“So, who are you working with?” My friend asked, clicking her gum whilst typing on her phone I couldn’t help but smile as I thought of him. “Jordan,” I replied giddily. All my friends simultaneously stopped what they were doing and looked at me with disgust. “You know you could’ve just worked with me.” My ex-boyfriend Ryan mentioned raising his brow suggestively.
“Ha no thanks, I want to work with Jordan” Emphasizing the word want. After that they ignored me until the last bell of the day rang.
