Very Poignant . Very Moving ...but

"...if there was ever a book that I needed an epilogue for, then this would be it. I needed to know if/how this family healed their broken hearts. I wanted to know if Daniel was able to stay sober. Was Darla going to follow in her father's footsteps. Was Gretchen able to go away to college? Was Shirley able to get help for her child? Would Neal & Gloria always mourn, but eventually forgive Claire and Daniel too? Author, if you wanted me to really feel the depth of this book, you have succeeded. Well done! In my mind, there was a happy ending. Families may not necessarily have to be blood related, they are sometimes messy, need forgiveness, but mostly they need acceptance & love. "
