Lisa Birthday Surprise

Lisa woke up that morning feeling excited and to see what Tom her husband of three years had planned for her birthday this year. Lisa got up and put on her dressing gown and slippers and she went to the kitchen.

Tom was dressed and he went to kiss Lisa on the cheek and mumbled "I am already late for work" and he rushed out of the door. Lisa felt sad that Tom had forgotten her birthday. "Maybe he left my present somewhere?" Lisa thought to herself. After finding nothing Lisa gave up and started to think "Tom has been different ever since he started his new job." Lisa came out of her thoughts.

Her phone rang "Hello Sis ... Happy Birthday to you, I'm so sorry to do this to you but I have to cancel lunch with you today as I tried to get off work, but unfortunately I can't." said Lisa's sister Sharpay. "Thank you Sis and I totally understand." said a sad Lisa. "I am so sorry, but I have to go as my boss is calling me and once again Happy Birthday Sis" said Sharpay. Lisa let out a loud sigh "I better get ready for work then" she thought to herself. "Oh well I just have to spend my birthday all on my own tonight ... all Alone."

When Lisa arrived at work everyone at work wished her a Happy Birthday. Once at her desk the office phone rang. "Good Morning Marie Anderson's office how may I help you?" she said. "Happy Birthday Babe." said Tom.

"Thank you honey" Lisa said. "I am sorry that I rushed out this morning, I could not make you breakfast in bed and wish you a Happy Birthday that is why I called to say I am working late and to say sorry about this morning."said Tom.

"Thank you and that's okay, I understand" said Lisa. They both said goodbye and Lisa put the phone down. Lisa let out a loud sad sigh and she thought to herself "Oh well I just have to spend my birthday by myself tonight.....Alone". Lisa heard someone cough and she came out her thoughts. Lisa looked up and she saw her best friend Anna looking at her " Why do you look so down?" questioned Anna. "Oh no reason at all" Lisa said. "I thought Tom would take you out this morning for your birthday" said Anna. "Me too, butI guess not" Lisa said.

"I really liked Tom when Lisa first started dating him and married him three years ago." Anna thought to herself. "Let's go for an early lunch my treat." said Anna. At lunch time Anna came to fetch Lisa for lunch. When they arrived back at the office the day went quickly as Lisa felt much better by the end of the day. Lisa saw Anna leave earlier than normal. On the way home from work which was a short drive but to Lisa it felt like an extremely longer drive home than usual. Finally Lisa arrived at home and got out of her car and opened the front door and turned on the lounge light and to start her birthday evening alone.

She got such a huge fright when everyone shouted "SURPRISE"!! Lisa was shocked she could not speak for a few minutes. Tom came up to her laughing and saying "Happy Birthday Sweetheart, I hope that you love your surprise?" "But I thought that you had to work late?" she asked Tom. "I lied Honey and said I had to work late so that I could arrange your Birthday Party."

"Oh, I just love you so much Honey this is the best Surprise ever." said Lisa. "I love you too hon". Tom replied. Everyone partied late that evening. The next Morning Tom told Lisa "I have another surprise for you." "What is it?" Lisa asked. "I can't tell you or it won't be a surprise then." Tom told Lisa. "Our bags are packed and someone will pick us up this morning." Tom and Lisa's transport arrived shortly afterwards.i

Lisa was super excited about this unexpected birthday surprise that Tom had planned for her and was wanting to know from him where they were going. Lisa finally asked Tom "So are you going to tell me now where you are taking me Honey?" "NO Honey and stop asking me now." said Tom rather harsly. "Okay Babe, no need to raise your voice at me." Lisa said sadly. "Sorry Honey, I didn't mean to snap at you like that but I don't want to ruin the surprise okay." he said giving her a hug. "Okay, I understand" she replied.

They finally arrived at the airport and checked their luggage in. Lisa saw that they were flying to Hawaii. She was so excited, she couldn't stop smiling and jumping up and down from sheer excitement. They boarded their flight and flew to the holiday destination of Lisa'a dreams. She had always wanted to go to Hawaii and had mentioned it to Tom so many times that she lost count. "He was actually listening to me when I went on and on about Hawaii.....I can't believe I'm actually on my way to my dream vacation" she gasped. " Oh my word" she half shouted at Tom. "What's wrong Hon" he said almost chocking on his alcoholic beverage. "I didn't put in for leave , I'll be fired when I return from my exotic holiday" she said distraught. "Don't stress about that now Babe" he said. " But I have to as i can't lose my job" she was becoming hysterical. "Babe your boss knows about this trip and was in on plan right from the beginning when I told her" he said. "You told her"? she said."Yes, I told her" said Tom rather harsly to Lisa. "How did you get to speak to my boss if you never come to my work place Tom"?asked Lisa. "What is with all the questions today" Tom said sarcastically to Lisa. "What is it with you today speaking to me so sarcastically"? Tom did not answer. Two hours later Tom and Lisa landed in Hawaii and now they were in the taxi going to Lisa's birthday surprise. They both arrived at the place and got out of the taxi when Lisa saw it was a cruise ship. She let out a loud squeal and Lisa jumped into Tom's arms and hugged him tight. "Lisa honey I can't breathe ". Tom said. "Sorry darling I'm just so happy right now, how long have you been planning this?"she asked. "Since last month already I can't wait to go on this trip with you and I have another surprise for you honey" Tom said. "Well what is it?" Lisa asked Tom out of curiosity. "You will find out later on, but for now let's board the cruise ship" he told Lisa. For the whole week Tom and Lisa were enjoying being on the cruise ship and every night they went to a show. Tom was being more affectionate and loving towards Lisa. Anyone who looked at them saw love that they were in love."Good Morning my love, how did you sleep?" "I had wonderful nights rest and how about you?" she asked Tom."I slept great, here I bought you breakfast in bed" he said. "Sorry but I can't join you as i am going golfing" he told her. "That's alright love" she said. " Oh yes, I I keep forgetting to ask you, you said that you had another surprise for me. So, where is it?"Lisa asked Tom kindly. "You will see tonight, it's going to be a night that you will remember forever" and he bent down to kiss her cheek. " What time must I be ready by my love?" She said. " I will fetch you at eight thirty and we will walk on the deck for a bit and than go to dinner. "Now I must be off" Tom told said to Lisa. "See you tonight honey" she replied. It was time for dinner and Lisa was very excited to spend the whole evening with Tom. She could not wait. Later that evening Tom and Lisa were walking arm in arm on the deck together "it's such a lovely evening isn't it Tom"Lisa said "Yes, it is my love,why don't we go over there" Tom said to Lisa pointing to the edge of the deck. "Your other surprise is coming now, why don't you look at the sky for me my love" Tom said. "I'm so excited I can't wait to see what it is?"said Lisa excitedly. " I am sure you are honey" Tom said. Lisa was getting anxious, so she asked, "Where is my surprise Tom?" "Keep looking"he said. "Okay, it's a beau....." Then Tom pushed Lisa over the edge, and she got sucked under the ship. Tom made sure clean up his evidence before screaming frantically"MY WIFE FELL OVERBOARD SOMEONE HELP!!!!!" Tom thought that I have to make it look convincing enough and now I must make everyone else believe it as well" Tom walked down to the restaurant and when he got to the door, he rushed in frantically screaming again "SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME MY WIFE WENT OVERBOARD!!!!" Everyone jumped up from their seats and ran to follow the screaming man and Tom told the people where Lisa went overboard. Tom pretends to be crying his heart out over what happened to Lisa. When the cops arrive "Sir,Sir can you tell me what happened over here?" I am detective Molly". Lisa and I went on the deck tonight and Lisa leaned to far over and she fell overboard"Tom sobbed. "what were you both doing out here?" The detective asked Tom. "We were going for a lovey night stroll and then we were going for dinner afterwards" sobbed Tom even harder as he was covering his eyes. "I am sorry for your loss that is enough questions for now sir" said detective Molly. Detective Molly walked away to question everyone else to see if anyone had seen what had happened. The waiter stepped up to detective Molly to tell her "I know who killed that poor lady, it was that man over there and I've got proof of him pushing her overboard" "Alright, show me this proof Mr......?" the detective said to the waiter. ," My name is Henry and I took a video of the whole thing" he told the detective the video of Tom pushing Lisa overboard. Tom saw detective Molly was heading back his way, so he made a run for it to the edge of the deck and before detective Molly could get to him Tom jumped off the edge of the ship. Detective Molly found out that Tom was having an affair with Lisa's boss they both planned for Tom to take Lisa on the cruise ship so that he could get rid of her and so they could be together divorce wasn't an option because Tom would get nothing from the divorce because of Lisa being slightly rich. If Tom made it look like an accident he and the other lady would get everything.
