Chapter 1
Light sits in his chair going over everything trying to keep his mind off of L and how cute he seems. He looks over seeing L sitting in his normal croutched position eating some cake. Light licks his lips as he watches L type. It's been months since the handcuffs had been removed.
"Is something wrong Light you've been staring at me for about 5 minutes" L says. Light's cheeks turned bright pink "It's nothing, I'm just really tierd" Light said. L looks at Light not believing him then looks at the clock seeing it's past midnight. "I guess this is a good time to call it a night" L says logging off his laptop then walks to his room. Light quickly turns off his computer and quickly catches up with him.
Light changes his clothes into pajamas and lays on the bed as L grabs some clothes and walks into the bathroom making sure to lock it. As soon as Light finished changing he gets on the bed and looks at the ceilling still thinking of his feelings for L remebering the first time he met the black haired detective that intrested him when he first met him. He wanted nothing more then to hug him and keep him all to himself and not let anyone touch him or see him. When the bathrrom door opens Light sees L in a pair of black pajamas he's never seen before making his body heat up.
"Damit not now" Light thinks as L walks to his side of the bed not paying attention to him. L lays on the bed facing the oppisite direction still thinking of the evedience the taskforce collected that day. As he was thinking he didn't realize Light staring at him in a loving way.
Light moves closer to L wrapping both arms around him knocking him out of his thoughts "Is something wrong Light-kun?" L asks a bit confused.
"Don't think about it right now" Light says as he rubs his fingers through L's black hair almost making L pur in delight if he wasn't biting his lips trying to muffle any noise that could come out but Light herd a tiny sound making his body get excited. L tries moving but Light wrapped his arms around L's waist making their bodies touch. L tries thinking of why Light would be doing what he's doing. L felt his body was enjoying Light's attention against his will.
Just then he felt Light's lips on his. "I've been wanting to do this for a while now" Light says. L didn't know what Light was talking about. "You are an intresting man Ryuzaki and now I just can't stop what I've been feeling from the begining" Light says kissing L again.
L's cheeks turned bright pink against his normal white skin making Light smile "Do you understand what I'm saying Ryusaki?" Light asks. L didn't say anything still proccessing what Light was saying. When Light found out L isn't going to say anything he kisses L again. "What I'm trying to says is L I love you" Light says. L's face turned bright pink as he thought about what he said remembering Light's strange behavior for the past couple weeks that he ignored but then it all made sence to him. "Good he finnally figured it out" Light thinks laughing in his head about how slow it took L to figure it out.
"I- I don't know what to say to you Light" L says feeling embarrassed about not figuring it out. Light laughed how cute L has been. "You don't have to worry about it, just know that no matter what's going on I'll never change my mind about you" Light says laying his head next to L's closing his eyes. L closes his eyes trying for once to know what it felt like in a long time to finally fall asleep. When Light knew L was sleeping he kisses him one last time thinking of the latest deaths. He breaths in L's scent feeling more relaxed now that he told him his feelings already knowing he feels the same even if he didn't say it.
Next day
Light opens his eyes seeing L is no where to be seen. He immediately gets up looking the entire bedroom for him including the bathroom. He walks to where all the computers are thinking he might be there. When he gets there he sees L sitting in his chair in his usual manner. He looks around not seeing any of the task force in the room. "There's no one here" Light says.
"I decided to give everyone the day off" L says not looking at Light as he works. Light walks up behind him looking over what he's doing not seeing the case making him confused. "What is this?" Light asks. "Another case I'm involved in" L says as he scrolls down. Light tries reading through getting surprised of what's written.
When he finished reading he wanted to demand the name's then run to the bedroom and grab his deathnote and write their name's in it with the worst possible deaths he could imagine. Just then L got an email from a mysterious person with the code name Adam. Light reads the email slowly trying to let it slowly sink into his mind.
"How do you know this person?" Light asks. L didn't say anything for a couple seconds then decided to give a little bit of information. "I've gotten information from them before" L says. Light felt a little suprised with the information he just herd. "They're safe for now in a safe spot only I and Watari know" L says. Light wraps his arms around L's waist feeling comfortable as the silence settled. "I want to meet them one day" Light says. "Will I ever meet this person?" Light asks courious. "Maybe, they're young so they might not talk to you at first" L says ending the conforsation.
There was a couple minutes of silence ass Light continued to stay close to L's side. "If you want to help sit here and review these" L says. Light looks over the informationst still wondering more on the case he's looking at that moment. He still wonders who L was talking about wondering who could be as smart as them. He reads through the information making sure not to miss anything just in case he needs to go back to it later.
They work for another hour until they decide to stop and take a break for the day. light looks at his watch seeing it's noon "Lets go out and have the rest of the day free from the case" Light says. L felt a little hesitant to leave and go out with Light but then he thought it would be a good idea to maybe clear his head and maybe grab a slice of cake along with it. "Fine but I want cake" L says making Light giggle a little. He grips L's hand then walks to the door. "Whatever you say" Light says as they walk out.
