Chapter 1 (Summer)
It summer holiday for Hazel, school is over. So that means she can spend time with her pet dragon called Cielo, Cielo is a Welsh dragon and very funny one, Hazel and Cielo were outside having a barbecue, "Wow mum those burgers smell amazing" as she watched her mother cooked the burgers and hot dogs. Cielo just looked up at the sky and she was just thinking about Welsh cakes. after the barbecue Hazel went upstairs but before she did that there was a letter near to the front door, she pick up the letter and it was from her dad it said. "Hello my little Dragon angel, sorry I didn't send much letters this week, work was very hard last year, oh, by the way I saw penguins this week they were so cute standing around next to each other, it made me feel like wanted to go back home to see you and your mother.
I hope you are well and fit, and I hope your mother is ok. sign by your dad"
Hazel was happy that she got a letter from her dad. Her farther was a ice scientist he gets information about the ice caps.
