The Beginning of Lethabo's Story
It all began as a mistake, you know how it goes. I was young and foolish and thought I knew everything there was to know about love and relationships. But boy, was I wrong. My name is Lethabo and I’m here to tell you my story.
It all started when I was swiping through the dating app, looking for my next fling. And then I saw her. Her name was Zara and she was gorgeous. I mean, seriously gorgeous. I just had to have her. So, I slide into her DMs and we start talking. And let me tell you, the conversation was. We hit it off right away and soon enough, we’re making plans to meet up.
We decide to go out for drinks and before I know it, we’re stumbling back to my place, completely drunk and giggling like school kids. And then it happened. The mistake. We ended up sleeping together and I thought, “Hey, this could be something special.”
But the next morning, things took a turn. Zara freaked out and told me that she wasn’t looking for anything serious. She just wanted a casual fling, nothing more. And to be honest, that was all I wanted too. So, we agreed to keep things casual and continue seeing each other.

I even started saying my catch phrase, “I’m falling for you, Zara” every chance I got. But she just laughed it off and told me to calm down.
Eventually, I couldn’t take it anymore. I needed to know where I stood with her. So, I confronted her and told her how I felt. And that’s when she dropped the bombshell. She told me that she was seeing other people. I was devastated. How could I have been so stupid?
