Summary

Introduction Astrid starts working at her dad's studio as co-DJ in her senior year of high school and two pop devils try to make her life difficult. Tables turn after the death of the DJ and he's replaced with his younger cousin. When the pop devils make a mistake she ends up playing two different personalities in front her new DJ who falls for one of them blindly. Will she continue the act or just be the girl she's meant to be??

Prologue

Prologue

"Hey mum and dad ." Astrid greets her parents over the phone.

"Hey princess, it just a matter of a few more hour and we'll be home to celebrate your successful audition." Her dad replies from the other end.

After a few minutes more of talking she leaves the phone with her uncle Ethan and goes I'm on stage.

Her 8year old body is trembling with nerves as she walks before the open Mic. And she takes deep breath before finally giving an introduction. "Hi my name is Astrid...... Astrid Scott..... and I am 8 years old."

"Okay ready when you are." The judge in middle says.

Astrid adjusts the Mic on the stand before she can let her voice out but is stopped when

she's called loudly from behind.

It's her uncle and he does not look fine at all he walks to her with his face wet and pale.

Crying?

"Uncle what happened? why are you crying?" She asks as he's hugging her tightly.

The Judges solemn faces change to confused as they watch the scene in front of them.

Ethan then pulls away and wipes off the strain of hair on Astrid's face. "Astrid .....it ...it's your parents...they where in a plane crush. "

All the strength in Astrid flies out the window and

she collapses.

Ethan being Eric Scott's younger brother he takes care of His brother and sister in law's burial and decides to adopt Astrid.

Astrid accepted Ethan as her guardian but not her father. And as for her condition, it got worse and sufured mental trauma hence the doctor the doctor said she should not be allowed to sing or do anything that would bring back painful memories for it might prove to be fatal.
