"The story picked an interesting idea, but terrible execution and wrong categorising dragged it down. This book focused on Alex & Sonya facing their new life after the death of their parents, but one day the electricity and internet went down, putting the sisters even more in distress. You'd think the conflict rose but it doesn't. The conflict was watered down and thus the sisters hardly ever in danger, the rising tension of the story was flat & bland and the resolution was unsatisfying. However, the pace moved nicely steady despite some flashbacks set in between them. An interesting element of the story would be it's theme around disconnection between people. As seen in Alex and Sonya that stopped talking after their parents' death. Their character arc solved warmly, but this book don't deserve to be categorised as Sci-fi."
