Popularity? Is it that easy to achieve? Jessie doesn't think so.
Jessie's past:
Jessie Stark. A stamped nerd in the school. Other than that, she was quiet, easy to be bullied material. She didn't even have a single friend. She used to sit all alone, in the corner of the class.
On the other hand, there was Alfred Garcia, the worst behaved, but the most popular boy of the class. Other than his mischief, there were plenty of good qualities he had.
First of all, he is SUPER HANDSOME, A PROMINENT JOCK, AND THE CAPTAIN OF THE SOCCER TEAM. Other than that, he is also good in studies. This was the reason he was never kicked out of the school. No prefect, no teachers and even the principal couldn't stop him.
Every girl had a crush on Alfred. Jessie would deny that she didn't had one.....but----what was the use? Alfred didn't seen to know she existed or something. His ex was Veronica Weasley. The most popular girl of the class. There was no hope for Jessie and Alfred's coupling and Jessie didn't care. All she cared about was Popularity. She did hairstyles, tried to be friendly, but it didn't seem to work with her.
Her brother Neil was ashamed of her. He was good in soccer as well and was popular being one grade below Jessie, class VI.
He says always, 'Jess, I don't get why you can't be popular. Even my friends make fun of you! Are you good in nothing instead of studies?!'
Jessie used to look at the mirror and think about herself, 'How can I be popular being just good in studies, how?'
