"This is a bit late as I was done finishing the story during mid-2023, but man, I hit a jackpot on this one. The reason I read this story is because of unique plot that I have not seen in this website/application along with the eye-catching book cover. And I am so glad I found this gem. The plot was a simple slice-of-life story, which I adore very much. The story takes out all the cliches of this story-telling website of vampires and love stories as it dwells deeper into the story and thoughts of the main character. And the author did it well whereas the plot progresses onward about the loss of the main character's mother and how he was able to cope with the new situation by diving in deeper with the thoughts of the character. Stories that analyzes the mess inside a main character or that talks about the character's personality and how they develop as the story progresses are stories that I find interesting and admire as they are not usually get written amidst the hundreds of stories available in whatever genre. Kudos to the author. The character's are fun and interestingly written, especially with the girls and their interaction between the main character, one of my favorites since, even though they are different characters, they are well-balanced and are not easily confusing to identify when reading due to their different aspects in their personality and how it is written through dialogues. Most character interactions are well-written through impactful dialogues. The only boring dialogues and characters for me are the side characters of the main character whenever he's in the cafe as it gets too bombarded with information as to who's who. Nonetheless, it was just a minor concern, but it did not affect the whole reading experience, mainly because of how the author wrote the story up to very end with a satisfying resolution. Considering that this website/app, through my observation, is a bit dead, I hope that the author continues writing these kinds of stories and bring light to topics that are not usually talked about or written yet. Overall, I had a good reading experience with this story and I enjoyed it very much despite being short."
