"What a powerful story. The author covers a very real topic with such detail you couldn't help but get sucked into the characters lives. I'm left feeling sad that their relationship didn't get chance to become the beautiful thing it was blooming to be. I'm devastated about what happened to Milo. A very real reminder of how life can be cut short. To the author.... you are a true talent, your writing is genius. I cannot wait for book 2, really hoping Ade and Ringer get their HEA after all that pain 💗"

Binge worthy
"First, I love that the main character is biracial. His group of friends and foster family is diverse. It really touches on the struggles of poverty and trying to get by without being too dramatic. I'm addicted to every character in this story. Ringer has undiscovered trauma that he struggles to overcome and you can tell he's unaware of it by how he speaks/thinks. Adeline is a strong woman and very intuitive. So happy she isn't a weak female lead. I decided to stop reading it for now until its finished so I can binge it! "
