The water was so calm
Most were asleep in bed
It was to late to turn
An iceberg up ahead
I turned to ring the bell
To let the captain know
But that's when it happened
She took a fatal blow
Women and children first
That was the captains call
He knew as sure as me
That it would not be long
This was surely the end
So this I had to write
