Chapter 1

Sally POV

I’m Sally the ghost of 917 Hancock brownstone in bedstuy, Brooklyn. I’ve been chilling, also known as haunting this place for 3 years now. No one has lived here so it’s been boring till now. Movers are here and coming into the house. I sit on the mantle in the living room as they come back and forth. I wonder who is moving in and if they have kids. I love kids and they can see me. So it would be nice to have new little friends besides the little girl from across the street. Speaking of her, I spot her outside talking to a tall man.

Isiah POV

I’m about to pick up a box when I hear a little voice.

“Hey, Mister. Are you my new neighbor?

I turn and it’s a little brown skin girl looking up at me.

“Yes, I am. My friend and I will be living here.

“Boyfriends? It’s okay if you like men, no toxic vibe over here.

I laugh

“No. Just my friend. I’m Izzy and you.

“Bonnie is like the lady from Vampire diaries. It’s my granny’s name. *Bonnie

“It’s a cool name. *Izzy

She smiles

“I like you. I hope you and your friend are nice to Sally. Can I come over sometime to play with y’all? *Bonnie

“Who is Sally? *Izzy

“The ghost lady that lives in the house. She is so sad and lonely. So be nice.

I raise my eyebrows

“Okay.

“Bonnie!

“That’s my mom! Later!

She walks across the street and I go back to my boxes.

Kids

Back to Sally’s POV

The tall man comes into the house and omg if I could blush I would. He has bushy eyebrows and a beard. Covered in tattoos and looks like a hot piece of a thug. He definitely looks like the type to choke and stroke you.

He doesn’t stay long in the living room, I’m guessing he is in his new bedroom.

The movers are finally finished and a guy is paying them.

“Here you go, thanks for the great service.

“You welcome, Mr. Stevens.

The movers leave and Mr.Stevens comes into the living room.

He sits down and looks directly at me. It’s weird because I know he can’t see me.

Also, is this the tall man’s husband?

“Izzy!"

“Yea?"

“Come into the living room, please."

“Okay."

Walking, walking, the tall man appears.

“Can you see the lady on the mantle?"

“Yes, that’s Sally."

“You can see me! And you know my name!"

I fall off the mantle and land by the guys.

“I’m so excited! We are going to be such good friends! Don’t worry, I will respect your privacy. I like hanging out here or by the window so I can see Bonnie. Did she tell you my name?"

The tall man laughs and Mr. Stevens looks confused

“Yes, Bonnie told me your name. And she also told me to be nice to you."

“Aww, Bonnie. Such an adorable girl."

“Who is Bonnie and who are you? Why can we see you? *Eric

“Bonnie is a little girl across the street. Sally is a ghost and we can see her because she is supernatural like us. Duh nigga.

“First, vampires and werewolves exist now as ghosts. What’re next, Aliens? *Eric

“Probably. *Izzy

“So y’all are vampires?"

“No, Eric is a vampire and I’m a werewolf."

“Cool. Welcome to my house."

“Thanks, little mama."

This Izzy guy is charming

I pop back onto the mantle

“I will let y’all unpack. I’m here if you want to chat."

They say okay

I think I’m going to like them living here.
