Part 1
This story was inspired by the song “Beauty Unique Boutique” by FAKE TYPE.
A young woman who had just moved into a new city was walking around a small part of town. She had always loved being in the city, but the small and peaceful areas were also very pleasant. The woman walked on a long, curvy sidewalk that went in a spiral up a small hill. There was a small, paved road that swirled around the little area. On the outside of the road and the sidewalk, there were a bunch of tiny little shops. Each shop was unique in its own little way. Some of the shops were old and looked like they could fall at any second. Others looked delicate and fragile but also beautiful. Those shops looked like the littlest gust of wind could blow them down. Something odd that the woman noticed was that each shop sold things that matched what the building looked like.
The young woman walked into one small shop that caught her attention. It was one of the more delicate-looking shops. When she walked in, she was greeted by what looked like hundreds of tea cups. Each one was different and has a strange design. The woman was curious and walked further into the shop. While she was looking, she saw a cup that sparked her interest. It was small and clear, but it had a picture of a single rose. The rose was almost bare, with barely any petals still on it. The thorns on the stem were exaggerated, they looked huge and like they could easily kill. The woman got shivers down her whole body. For some reason, the cup creeped her out. She carefully set the cup back down and then walked out of the store.
The woman kept walking until she came across a shop that looked different from all of the others. It was beautiful and was made of what looked like quartz. The shop sparkled in the little sunlight that was showing through the clouds that day. The woman admired its beauty and then decided to walk inside. When she got inside, she was bombarded with so many different colors, sounds, and smells. It was a clothing shop. There was light music playing in the shop. it was very slow and calming music. there was a small desk at the back of the store that was far away from the clothes. The desk had many different candles on it, each a different small. Only one was lit, but it still smelled wonderful. The woman thought that it was the best thing that she had ever smelled. Lastly, the entire shop was filled top to bottom with beautiful, dainty, and elegant clothes. The woman was amazed and felt so comforted with all of the clothes around her. She felt peaceful.
