Summary

Take a ride with 47-year-old Constantina Morrigan from her home in Seattle where her husband of over 20 years leaves her, through the Badlands of South Dakota where she stumbles across an old acquaintance, Regina Praeda, that turns out to be her worst enemy. In Minneapolis she meets Nina, a young woman with a horrendous past and a grim future. Be there when Constantina rescues Nina from the claws of a rapist and then stumbles into a much larger scheme of sex-trafficking, organized rape and murder. When Connie gets involved with the detective that is charged with the investigation into Nena’s abduction and rape, only to find out too late that he might be part of the problem. At the center of it all: Regina Praeda and her devious nephew, Mark. Follow Constantina as she hunts Mark from Minnesota to New Orleans and then into Mexico. Where she confronts her demons in the jungles of the Yucatan Peninsula when she faces Mark and Regina. Be there when she stares into the underworld, not knowing if she’ll see another day.
